The mission is to build the AIOS Chain (Figure 1), a cutting-edge Layer 1 blockchain designed specifically to host, deploy, run, and distribute AI agents securely and efficiently. By merging AI with decentralized infrastructure, we empower a global ecosystem where innovation in AI can flourish, free from centralized control and with complete transparency.

What is AIOS Chain

The AIOS Chain is a decentralized Layer 1 blockchain infrastructure developed to support the full lifecycle of AI agents. The architecture consists of four integrated layers:

• Off-Chain Layer: The AIOS Kernel (Figure 2) provides a secure runtime environment for hosting and executing AI agents.
• Blockchain Layer: Core blockchain components, including validators, consensus mechanisms, P2P networking, and full nodes, ensure security, scalability, and transparency.
• On-Chain Layer: Smart contracts powered core functionalities, such as the Agent LaunchPad, Agent Metadata Registry, Agent DAO, Agent Logs, Decentralized Finance for AI (DeFai), and cross-chain bridges for interoperability.
• DApps Layer: The top layer which supports a suite of decentralized applications, including Agent Apps, AI Wallet, AI Stablecoins, AI DEX, and AI NFTs, fostering a diverse AI-driven Web3 ecosystem.

Why AIOS Chain
